Poker ContractionsA poker contraction is a variation of the most popular game of poker - Limit Holdem. Here are the most common, with examples of how they apply in a game. In a joint action, the two players meet each other at the table and singapoker play their hands. They play a new hand with an additional mandatory betting or hand betting, usually a minimum bet called "all in" or a minimum hand that must be reached (if a player reaches the minimum hand, he must leave the pot). If there is more than one player who reaches the same minimum, the hand is played again, this time to determine who gets to put the minimum bet, even if it is not the one who originally reached the minimum. This could mean that a player reaches a hand that is more than two suited and that could be further enhanced by either one or two consecutive studs, called gaffes. It could also mean that the original hand would be augmented further, with or without additional studs. In a Royal Flush, this poker contraction occurs when the flop includes at least two suited cards, with the player wanting to increase his winning is to win the pot if the flop is a river card. If the flop contains a single suited card, the winning is not increased. This is so because the single suited card will be worth only the betting limit, not the final prize money. The winner does not win the pot, even if the flop happens to be a good draw. In a red sequence, the player in the first position called as the red-shirted player draws his last two cards, after which the remaining singapoker players go out. It can be an ace, a queen, a king, a jack, or any other suited card, with the lower cards at the end being taken by the red-shirted player. If the red-shirted player makes a pair and has a pair as his last two cards, the game is still won if he wins the bet. In a straight game, the next card to be dealt is called the straight, whether that card is a suited card or not. It is called a straight simply by what the next card is, and the second card drawn is called a straight as well. The word 'in' usually means 'completing the pot' but does not always mean that. In the present context, 'in' means 'to place oneself on a pair'. The expected value of a pair that may not be part of the game value when the pair is placed on the pot is referred to as the pot 'call'. In the following example, a player calls the pot when the two high cards are part of the game value - they add to the pot rather than add to the expected value of the pot, and the player's pair on the pot is called an 'in'. Example: Two High Cards called Aces in a pot, called Straight
